Visiting a church for the first time can feel overwhelming. We want you to feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely welcomed from the moment you arrive.
At First McKinney, we are a community where people are learning who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow Him in everyday life. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, have questions about faith, or aren’t sure what you believe, you are welcome here.
Our Sunday gatherings are centered on the Bible and designed with the whole family in mind. We would love for you to join us this Sunday and see what First McKinney is all about.

Inviting Atmosphere
We love having guests and hope you'll join us this Sunday! You're sure to see plenty of welcoming faces of all ages. No matter your generation or background, there are people here like you. We have friendly faces at all major doors and at the Welcome Kiosks ready to help you find your way. 
Casual Dress
The building might look rather formal with its big steeple, but inside you'll find a casually dressed, friendly crowd (including the worship band and pastors). Expect anything from jeans to suits, and maybe even a Cowboys jersey here and there.
Engaging Worship
Everyone worships in their own unique way.  For many, that means singing, clapping and raising their hands, and for others, quiet reflection. You'll often hear current worship songs, but also regularly hear a traditional hymn.
Immersive Service
Both Sunday services are identical and last about 60–70 minutes. Each gathering includes several songs, a message from one of our pastors, and time for prayer and reflection.
About once a month, we observe the Lord’s Supper, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus through bread and the cup. If you are a believer in Jesus, you are welcome to participate, even if you are not a member of our church. If you are not yet a believer, you are welcome to observe and learn more about what it represents.
Our services are open to everyone in the community, and we would be honored to have you join us.

KIDS

Preschool: Birth to 5th Grade
Children from birth through Pre-K meet on the first floor of our Kids Building, and Kindergarten through 5th grade meet upstairs.
You can check in at either main entrance on the first floor, and our team will guide you from there and make the process simple.
Kids enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons in small groups and a larger group worship time designed just for them, all in a safe and welcoming environment.
VISIT KIDS

STUDENTS

Students in middle and high school are invited to join us on Sunday mornings for a time designed specifically for them.
We understand visiting somewhere new can feel uncomfortable, especially as a student. Our leaders will be available to help them find the right space and introduce them to the group.

Middle School: 6th - 8th Grade

Wednesday Evenings @ 6:15 PM

High School: 9th - 12th Grade
Sundays @ 10:45 AM
Wednesday Evenings @ 7:30 PM

ADULTS

Adults of all ages meet in Life Groups on Sunday mornings. They provide opportunities to study God’s Word through relevant Bible teaching, practical life application, and, most importantly, offer the opportunity to begin relationships with other believers.

Most of our groups meet on-campus each Sunday at 9:15 AM or 10:45 AM.

Where Do I Go When I Arrive?

Parking is available around the building, with guest parking near the main entrances.

When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by someone from our Welcome Team who can:

  • Help you find the worship center
  • Show you where kids check in
  • Answer any questions
  • Walk you where you need to go

If you’d rather slip in quietly, that’s okay too.
