Our Mission
TO MAKE DISCIPLES WHO LIVE AND LOVE LIKE JESUS
First McKinney has a rich 150-year history of loving Jesus and loving others. We have long been focused on sharing the Gospel with our neighbors and with people around the world. We believe Jesus' call to go make disciples extends beyond merely becoming disciples ourselves and invites us to experience the joy of helping others follow Him.
ROMANS 10: 9 -10

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
Discipleship Pathway
We believe that following Jesus leads to the most fulfilling and abundant life because He is the source of true purpose, joy, and peace. The Discipleship Pathway serves as a model to help us intentionally grow in our faith by taking practical steps to deepen our relationship with Christ. It guides us from simply encountering Jesus to becoming more like Him in our daily lives.
Most importantly, the pathway emphasizes that our faith journey doesn’t stop with our own growth but naturally leads us to make disciples of others, continuing the mission Jesus began by teaching, loving, and investing in people.
