Salvation
We believe there is a real kingdom with a real King, and his name is Jesus. He laid down His life for us and then rose from the grave three days later, rescuing us from the penalty of sin and conquering death, Hell, and Satan. If we repent, believe, and follow Him, we can be a part of His kingdom.

Baptism

Whether you have recently made a decision to follow Christ or made that decision years ago, we are ready to help you take that next step. If you have questions or would like to speak with someone, simply click the appropriate button below.

KIDS Baptism
Following Jesus’ command to be baptized is so important for anyone who follows Him! That’s why we partner with parents and support you as your child takes this next step of faith in his or her spiritual journey.
At First McKinney, every child who is baptized must be a follower of Jesus, must have attended *New U with a parent or guardian, and must have had a personal conversation with one of our First McKinney Kids Ministers about their faith decision.
*New U is a one-night class for children (grade 5 and under) and their parents to learn together about children’s salvation and baptism. The class is required before baptism at First McKinney, and one parent or guardian must attend with their child.

What? We believe baptism is a public proclamation of faith and new life in Jesus Christ. It is an outward public testimony of an inward transformation.
Why? Jesus modeled baptism for us and then said go and do the same. Submitting to His lordship through this act of obedience is the first step to growing into a disciple of Jesus.
Goal: To make disciples who live and love like Jesus.
