Matthew 22.34–39, Worship God
What does it really mean to love God with all that you are?
In Matthew 22:34–39, Jesus was asked to name the greatest commandment. His answer brought everything back to the foundation: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.
In this message, Pastor Sam Holm begins our Discipleship Pathway series with Worship God, reminding us that the love Jesus describes is more than an emotion. It is wholehearted devotion expressed through action, obedience, and sacrifice. We love God because He first loved us, and when our love for Him comes first, it begins to shape every other part of our lives.
Worship is more than singing on Sunday. We worship God personally through prayer, reading the Bible, and obedience, and we worship Him together as we gather, learn, pray, and sing.
Wherever you are in your faith journey, there is a next step: Love God wholeheartedly, let that love shape the way you live, and share His love with the people around you.
