Delight/Discipline
on April 21st, 2026
What if the key to better parenting isn't trying harder, but understanding how God parents you? Most of us swing between two extremes—either we're all affection with no authority, or all rules with no relationship. But God does both. He delights in us AND disciplines us. The Hebrew word for delight means to accept, approve, enjoy, and take pleasure in. That's how God sees you—not just tolerating you, but genuinely liking you because of what Jesus did. And when He corrects you, it's never to humiliate, but always to restore. Your kids need the same thing: to know they're cherished *and* guided. They need to hear "I love you" and "I'm proud of you" regularly—but they also need boundaries set with grace, not anger. This week, tell your child one specific thing you love about them. Then ask God to show you one area where you need to grow as a parent. You don't have to be perfect. You just need to be present, humble, and willing to learn.  Read More

Don't Let Trouble Trouble You
on April 20th, 2026
## Excerpt Life keeps making messes—and the harder you try to clean them up yourself, the worse things get. Pastor Sam discovered this literally while fixing his car. Oil-covered hands met light gray interior, and his frantic wiping only smeared the stains deeper. Someone finally told him: "You need Awesome"—a $1.50 cleaner that actually worked. That's all of us. We make messes. Life makes messes. And no amount of self-help can truly clean our hearts. On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus made a shocking promise: "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." How can we be encouraged when trouble is guaranteed? Because Easter changes everything. The resurrection isn't just ancient history—it's present-day power. When you trust that Jesus has already won the battle, you can stop letting trouble control your life. Betty Moody learned this in her final years at an assisted living facility. After a lifetime with religion on the shelf, she finally connected with Jesus personally. "I felt such a sense of peace," she said. "I wasn't empty anymore." If you think it's too late for a fresh start, it isn't. Today can be your Easter Sunday.  Read More
Results of the Resurrection
on April 20th, 2026
A couple from our church recently walked their neighbors through the devastating loss of a mother. Through that pain, those neighbors and their children all came to faith in Jesus. This message answers three crucial questions: Is my pain permanent? Can I really have a relationship with God? And how can I have joy when life feels overwhelming?  Read More

Hated but Never Forsaken
on March 24th, 2026
Ever notice how wearing a sports jersey changes everything? Walk into a rival team's stadium, and suddenly you're not just a person—you're a target for boos and jeers. The same thing happens when you follow Jesus. The moment you identify as a Christian, you step into a reality Jesus warned about: the world will push back.
